Camp Work Update

Work continues at the camp property in Cottonwood.  The concrete has been poured.  Volunteers from our home church and several sister churches have started framing up the walls for the kitchen, bathrooms and storage area in the pavilion.  We are grateful for their time and efforts in doing this work.

Next week our son will be working with a group of youth from his church doing several projects around the camp.  The group of youth are working with Re-Wired,  a ministry related effort which many areas churches are involved in this coming week.  Pray for these young people and their adult leaders as they devote their time to this project.  My prayer is that the youth will learn about what a blessing they will receive from being willing to serve others.

I plan to post some pictures of the work that has been done this week tomorrow night.  And next week I will post pictures of the work done by the Re-Wired team.

VBS - A great way to teach children Bible truths

Ministry comes in many forms, but the main focus of ministry is to share the gospel and love of Christ with others.  Last week (June 11-15), I had the opportunity of doing just that with a group of kindergarten children.  I assisted Amanda Raley with the kindergarten class at our home church in the Vacation Bible School.  It was great to be able to spend time with these children and get to know them and love them.  We shared very familiar Bible truths with them  and you would be surprised how much these children knew about the Bible.  It was great to know that they do listen and retain what they learn in Sunday School and at home when taught the bible.  I thank God for allowing me the privilege of working with these children. 

Below are a few pictures of the children in the gym for the worship rally each morning, in our classroom and the music time.  Our youth helpers were a great help and the children loved them.
